A car just for the race track
The Ford Torino Talladega was only built in the first weeks of 1969. It was named after the legendary Speedway in Talladega, which opened in the same year.
The Torino was conceived as a muscle car. The Talladega was the Fastback version or as Ford called it "Sportsroof". In contrast to the normal version, the Talladega had a different front for improved aerodynamics. It was only available with the interior in black vinyl and fabric as well as a front bench seat.
The slot car of racing legend status
This unique Carrera car combines American racing history with a racing legend. Bobby Unser, a star of the American racing scene at that time, drove on legendary tracks like Pikes Peak, Talladega or the Atlanta Speedway and won stunning races like the Indy 500. The Ford Torino Talladega on a scale of 1:32 gives that feeling of an earlier racing world like in the NASCAR series with this faithful replica. With the individual coding you can drift on the wide Carrera race tracks, just like it used to be on the first sand tracks. The digital control ensures that you can move freely around the race track.
