By using a magnet unit consisting of two magnets of different strengths, the set-up of the car can be modified.

 

In 2001, the Audis R8, unrivalled in the 2000 season, were given over to private teams. The team of former Formula 1 racer Stefan Johansson took one of the cars to drive it in Le Mans and at the ELMS. THE sports car sponsor, petrol company Gulf, was won as business associate; in the sixties and seventies Golf used such classic cars as the Ford GT40 and Porsche 917 as advertising vehicles.
