Final of the DTM 2007 takes place on the second weekend of October 2007 at the Hockenheimring.
 
The roar of engines also filled the air in the Mercedes lounge. The stars of tomorrow and the motorsport experts of today both made the acquaintance of the myth of Carrera.
 
Carrera set up a 2-lane Carrera Evolution circuit in the Mercedes VIP lounge to mark the final round of the DTM championships. The competitors duelled with scale models of DTM Mercedes cars on the Carrera circuit. 
 
Although Mika Häkkinen was only able to start the DTM final from last place in the grid he was soon back on track in the 1:24 scale version. He and his son enjoyed a number of laps to compensate for other disappointments. The hottest thumbs on the circuit belonged to a 7-year-old, Marie-Sophie Bürkert, who won first prize - a Carrera Go track!!! In an interview Florian König she proudly announced she would be very active in the 1:43 format in the near future.
