FORMULA RENAULT DRIVER TRAINING


Dear Carrera Fans,

On the 26th August the winners of the Challenge Tour were given the opportunity to experience the attraction of motor racing at first hand.

After receiving initial operating instructions, Christian Andersch, Thomas Singer and Michael Niemas were belted into the racing car and set off around the Salzburgring race circuit on their own, at full speed. The engine roared. A price had to be paid for the fast, tight corners. At the end of the event the car skidded out of control and slammed into the crash barriers. Fortunately, nobody was injured! At the Fidelen Affen tavern later that evening, stories of sporting courage and prowess were exchanged over a few beers into the small hours. All in all an exciting and unforgettable day!
