Dear Friends of Carrera,

On the 10th June 2004 the traditional Gaisberg Race began in the cultural metropolis of Salzburg for the 75th time. Surrounded by thousands of spectators against a fantastic backdrop, lovingly and complexly restored old-timers showed what they were still capable of. Sports cars, racing cars and touring cars – the ‘who’s who’ of classic motor sport was here in all its multiplicity and abundance.

As chief sponsor, Carrera was present at several venues in the city. A giant Carrera Pro-X racing circuit was unveiled. At the Residenzplatz anotherimmense Carrera car race trackwas installed for guest drivers, DDr. Gollegger (mayoral representative), Dr. Weißl (Gen. Manager - Oberbank), clergyman - Generalvikar Prälat Dr. Reißmeier, and Andreas Stadlbauer, to challenge each other’s skills.

Club members were also well looked after. A very cosy and exclusive get-together with food and beverages, and the Pro-X-Testing ,was set up in the historic Altstadtkeller basement of the Blaue Gans hotel.
